It was just after sunset and the Hobart Uni-Bar was sweltering from the heat of nineteen hundred youth ready to rock. The chanting started loudly and Gyroscope hit the stage, hard. Looking every bit as classy as they do in their now-famous clips, they proceeded to play songs from the older two records, and finally launched into the songs from the yet-to-be-released Breed Obsession. Leaning back against a fence and just enjoying the people, as well as the music, can sometimes turn out to be just as fun as being crammed into a smaller-than-comfortable – and very sweaty – space deep within the heart of the mosh-pit.
